The 27th anniversary of Nurtanio University Bandung (Unnur) which falls on September 8, 2026 was commemorated by all Unnur employees in a family and friendly atmosphere at Campus I Nurtanio University, Jl. Pajajaran No. 219, Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base Bandung, Tuesday (8/9). The anniversary event was marked by the cutting of tumpeng by the Chancellor of Nurtanio University Bandung, First Marshal TNI (Ret.) Dr. Drs. Yuli Subiakto, Apt, M.Si., which was handed over to the Head of LP3M Unnur Drs. Dedi Setiawan, MT

In his remarks, the Rector of Nurtanio University Bandung expressed his hope that in its 27th year, Unnur Bandung would be more advanced, superior, and impactful. He also expressed his hope that the current theme of Unnur Bandung would be “27 Years of Working Together to Create an Excellent, Impactful, and Sustainable Nurtanio University.” This will likely begin from scratch next year, with the name Nurtanio University Bandung changing to Nurtanio Aerospace University. Hopefully, it will run smoothly and bring impact and prosperity to us all. With Dirgahayu, Unnur embodies the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education and community service. We must faithfully serve and have a sense of national defense. Build your soul, build your body towards a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia, this is the message from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, with the theme of the 81st anniversary of Indonesian Independence. The Rector also hopes that our steps for our families, our communities, and the nation will receive the blessing and approval of Allah SWT. In the implementation of activities, there must be something less than perfect, but let’s evaluate it. No one wants to fall into the same abyss, not even a donkey. Let us together realize Nurtanio University Bandung which is superior, advanced and provides prosperity.
The anniversary celebrations also included several activities, including a zigzag walk, a sarong-changing, and a pencil-in-a-bottle competition, followed by a solo singing competition between faculties and the Graduate School, entertainment, and a grand prize distribution.

Present at the event were the Head of BPH Yasau at Unnur, First Marshal TNI (Ret.) Shopian Kohar, Head of Unnur Academic Senate Dr. Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Sudira, MT., Vice Chancellors of Unnur, Heads of Institutions, Head of SPI, Deans, Director of Postgraduate School, All lecturers and educational staff and all employees of Unnur Bandung.
